Holding on

It is far easier to let go, than it is to hold on. It is, sometimes, worth holding on just that bit longer.

Words of wisdom

"From the mouth of babes come words of wisdom." I happened to come across such wisdom recently. I especially loved the tone in which this particular wise little baby told me - "Only bad people smoke."

Tales of hunger

"If your heart is full, you don't feel that hungry," said Swami Tejomayananda. My heart is not full, ergo I am hungry. In the end, no matter how life twists and turns, one never forgets the person who refused them food. Especially, one that is responsible both for the state of the heart, and the hunger.

Butterflies

Chase a butterfly with a net, and it constantly, and tantalisingly, always stays a step ahead of you. But wait amidst beautiful flowers and be still, and the butterfly will come to you. There is, of course, the possibility that it may not settle on you after all. But such is life, and love.
