Name of dog witheld for privacy

My neighbour's dog, usually a rather unfriendly critter (he barks at me like I'm a thief whenever he sees me outside my room), displayed a rather human-like side today. He usually likes to sun himself on the open landing between the first and second floors, and has, on more than one occassion popped up to check on things on my floor.

Today, I was typing away on the laptop (I'm working from home today) and the door was open. As usual, he came walking by and peeped into the open doorway. The moment I saw him, I swear he had a very embarassed look on his face, the kind we humans have upon inadvertently peeping into someone's house and being caught at it. The next second, he beat a hasty retreat. Pity, for had he stayed a second longer, he would have seen me laughing heartily at his plight. David - 1; Dog - 0.

Life

Life is all about choices and consequences.
